Tilles Center's Dance for Parkinson’s classes are open to any individual with Parkinson’s disease, anyone with limited mobility, and their caregivers. No previous dance experience is necessary.
Recent data reflects that dance is beneficial for Parkinson’s disease patients. Activities improve balance, mind-body connection and provide social support. Each series of classes offers a variety of styles and specialized instructors. Participants will dance at their own pace and may sit or stand during each class.
- All sessions are open to any individual with Parkinson’s disease, anyone with limited mobility, and their caregivers. No previous dance experience is necessary.
- Class takes place in the Goldsmith Atrium (Tilles Center lobby).
- Participants must register in advance.
