The long-awaited return of the reigning virtuoso of the violin, Itzhak Perlman – as you have never seen him before! In An Afternoon with Itzhak Perlman, you will experience an intimate live performance from Mr. Perlman along with multimedia, stories, and personal photos from his archives and legendary career. On stage and performing with Mr. Perlman for this unforgettable afternoon will be his longtime collaborator, pianist Rohan DeSilva.

Classical music performances are made possible, in part, by the Classical Music Fund in honor of Dr. Elliott Sroka.

To celebrate his life and legacy, Dave's sons Chris and Dan Brubeck, who performed and recorded with their father since the 1970s, curate a multimedia show. Tilles Center at LIU Post mourns the passing of Dr. David Joel Steinberg, Long Island University President from 1985 to 2013. David, a scholar, professor and academic administrator, was instrumental in the growth and impact of Tilles Center throughout his tenure, helping to make the Center what it is today. Our hearts go out to his wife, Joan, and his children.

Held in our Goldsmith Atrium, this class is not only physically therapeutic but often gives students a psychological boost.
