Join the bestselling author, New York Times financial journalist, and CNBC co-anchor for an illuminating evening exploring the forces behind the most notorious market crash in history. Drawing from his new book 1929: The Inside Story of the Greatest Crash in Wall Street History, Sorkin reveals how unchecked ambition and human error turned prosperity into panic—and how the lessons of the past continue to echo in today’s financial world.
About Andrew Ross Sorkin
Andrew Ross Sorkin is an award-winning journalist for The New York Times and a co-anchor of Squawk Box, CNBC’s signature morning program. He is also the

Sorkin is the author of Too Big to Fail: How Wall Street and Washington Fought to Save the Financial System — and Themselves (Viking, 2009), which chronicled the

the 2010 Financial Times Business Book of the Year Award. The book spent more than six months on the New York Times Best Seller list in hardcover and paperback.
