Join us for an unforgettable adventure with Chicka Chicka Boom Boom: The Musical, where the beloved children’s book springs to life on stage! This delightful production features vibrant songs, energetic dancing, and whimsical puppets, as the alphabet letters ambitiously climb the coconut tree. With plenty of audience interaction and lively performances, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom: The Musical is a fantastic way for children to explore sound, rhythm, and reading!

Tilles Center presents relaxed performances with modified sound and light levels, specially adapted pre-performance materials, and quiet lobby areas with sensory toys for patrons who wish to move around. These performances are “non-shushing” and provide a comfortable environment for individuals on the autism spectrum and those who may have limited movement, sensory and/or complex communication needs. Relaxed performances are open to all neurodivergent and neurotypical audiences and take place throughout the season as part of our Family Fun! series of performances.

Today we had a visit from NewsdayTV’s Senior Lifestyle Host, Elisa DiStefano, as she interviewed Broadway star and inaugural Artist-in-Residence at Long Island University, Adam Pascal! The interview took place on our Concert Hall stage, and covered everything Adam, including his role as Director of the world premiere production of “Feels Like the First Time - The Foreigner Musical,” which will have its run next April and feature students from LIU’s Post Theatre Company, his views on teaching, his appearance at our September 5 acoustic Foreigner show, as well as Adam’s solo appearance here on November 23. It was a great talk, and we can’t wait to see the piece air on NewsdayTV soon.
