The renowned Scottish photographer, who was assigned to cover the Beatles’ first trip to the United States in 1964, will be screening his documentary, Harry Benson: Shoot First, which follows his incredible career, followed by a moderated conversation.

About Harry Benson
Harry first arrived in America with the Beatles in 1964. In his long and storied career, he has photographed twelve U.S. presidents, was just feet away from Senator Bobby Kennedy the night he was assassinated, was on the Meredith march with Martin Luther King, Jr., next to Coretta Scott King at her husband’s funeral, and there when the Berlin Wall went up and when it came down.

What we know today about many famous musicians, politicians and actors is due to the famous work of photographer Harry Benson. During this special evening, the acclaimed documentary will be screened, followed by a discussion with Harry. Moderator to be announced.
