JALC: Internationally Ellington with the Future of Jazz Orchestra

2023-24 RESIDENCIES
Tilles Center is pleased to announce its collaboration with Jazz at Lincoln Center (JALC), as part of its 2023/24 season.

Jazz programming is made possible, in part, by Sandy and Eric Krasnoff.

The fruits of Jazz at Lincoln Center’s educational mission will be on display with Internationally Ellington, featuring a hand-picked ensemble of some of the greatest young musicians in jazz meeting the challenges posed by one of jazz's great composers, Duke Ellington. Led by music director Joe Block, a recent Juilliard graduate and Essentially Ellington composition winner, this 15-piece band will keep audiences swinging all night long.
