Aesop’s classic fable continues ten years down the road, in a show that combines dazzling blacklight technology, poignant storytelling and the creative use of music from classical to pop. Old Man Tortoise and Big Daddy Hare must come together despite their differences to find and save their children. Will they make it to the finish line?

SECOND ANNUAL TILLES JAZZ FEST ANNOUNCED
Following the resounding success of its inaugural year, Tilles Center for the Performing Arts is thrilled to announce the second annual Tilles Jazz Fest, presented in collaboration with Jazz at Lincoln Center, taking place Saturday, July 19, 2025. This all-day celebration of jazz will unfold across the scenic and historic Long Island University Post campus, with indoor and outdoor performances from 1 PM into the evening, culminating in headline performances by legendary trumpeter and ten-time Grammy winner Arturo Sandoval and acclaimed vocalist/guitarist John Pizzarelli with his Big Band. Tickets are on presale to Tilles Center members now, and go on sale to the public April 24.
