“How wonderful yellow is. It stands for the sun.” -Vincent Van Gogh The color yellow for the Tilles Center logo is bright and joyful. Yellow stimulates our nerves and brains, making us more alert and energized. It boosts our memories and encourages communication. The color elicits hope, conveys warmth, and promotes activity and connection. Through our work we seek to harness the power of yellow, to bring joy and energy to the community, encouraging people of all ages and abilities to enjoy and participate in the arts. The arts enrich our lives in so many ways. They’re not only good for the soul; they can also enhance physical well-being, including heart health, and may even lower our risk of developing certain types of heart disease. Combine that with healthy lifestyle choices, and you’ve got a recipe for keeping your heart both happy and healthy! How is your heart health? In honor of American Heart Month, our season sponsor Catholic Health has put together a short health quiz that we’ve linked in our bio. It will help you see how your heart’s doing and what changes you could make to feel even better. Thank you @catholichealthli for your support, both for Tilles Center and the entire community here on Long Island! . . . . . #tillescenter #tillescenterfortheperformingarts #liupost #liu #longislanduniversity #cahtolichealth #longisland #discoverlongisland #discoverli #healthylifestyle #hearthealth #healthyheart
