Curtain's Up! Ticket Subsidy Requests
Tilles Center is currently accepting applications for Title I school districts for to apply for subsidized tickets to select Curtains Up! Student matinee performances.
Please note the following prior to completing a subsidy application request:
- Subsidy applications must be received no less than 8 weeks prior to the performance date.
- Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Awards are determined based on student need and ticket availability.
- We ask that applicants pay for a nominal portion of the tickets, when possible, in order to offset artist fees. You may apply for a full subsidy ($0 tickets) or discounted tickets ($5 each), or a combination of both.
- Prior to applying, be sure that you have explored other methods of payment, such as BOCES Arts in Education services, your school’s parent/SEPTA organization, and/or district office discretionary funds.
- Submission of a subsidy request form constitutes your ticket reservation request. Please do not duplicate this request with an online order for full-priced $12 tickets.
- Subsidy applications require a brief description of your students’ economic need on a separate document.
Completed applications should be emailed to TillesArtsEd@liu.edu no less than 8 weeks prior to the requested performance(s) date.
